Earth's Changing Surface Lab Information This lab was developed at CSISD and shared at CAST. Students study and take notes over weathering, erosion and deposition. Next they create a Weathering and Erosion Pizza Poster, which they will use during the lab. The lab uses 3-d models but can be used without the models if you do not have them, just use the photos of the models and photos from space that correspond to the landforms to designate to match the lab sheets (Earth Changing Surface Lab Student Sheets.doc). Documents for the poster and lab: Weathering and Erosion pizza poster.doc (takes about 2-3 class days to complete, or 2 and complete at home) Earth Changing Surface Lab Student Sheets.doc (complete during the 2-day lab) Print these landforms full size pages for the lab (Choose which 5 to use, station 6 uses a globe instead of a photo from space): Landform 1.JPG Landform 2.JPG Landform 3.JPG Landform 4.JPG Landform 5.JPG Landform 6.JPG Landform 7.JPG Landform 8.JPG Next print these from space (Some need to be replaced with better examples, find them ahead of time). You need to match them with the landforms you chose. Landform 4 space equiv(AK).jpg Landform 8 space equiv(TX coast).jpg space-volcano.JPG (Station 5) Landform 1 space equiv(Norway).jpg (not the best one for spits etc, find better one) Station 6 uses a globe not a space photo
