Do other celestial objects appear in phases like the Moon?

Read page 65. What are 2 ways to reduce the possibility of an asteroid colliding with Earth?

Explain what causes seasons.

Draw sketches of each season in order. Show Earth with axis and tilt and the position with the Sun for each season. You may decide which season to start your “year”.


On using the Paper Mache Earths after they are created- use them daily.

1. Get your Earths and see if you can name all the continents. You may get help from classmates.
2. Get your Earth and pick up a Moon (golf ball) from the tray in the middle of the room. Position your Earth and Moon to view Moon phases. See if you can create all the phases. (Lights are mostly off and the light in the middle of the room is on).
